Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Talking Stick Dalam Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Mata pelajaran IPS Terpadu di Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Hiliduho

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in Integrated Social Studies subjects caused by the learning process that is still teacher-centered so that students are less active and easily feel bored during the learning process. This study aims to determine the application of the Talking Stick learning model in improving the learning outcomes of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Hiliduho in the 2020/2021 Academic Year. The study used a Classroom Action Research approach which was carried out in two cycles with 20 students as research subjects. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, documentation, and learning outcome tests. The results showed that the application of the Talking Stick learning model was able to improve student learning activities and Integrated Social Studies learning outcomes. The percentage of learning completion increased from 45.00% in cycle I to 95.00% in cycle II. Thus, the Talking Stick learning model is effective for improving student learning outcomes.References
