Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aimed to determine the implementation of the Scramble learning model and its impact on the Social Studies learning outcomes of Grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 3 Tugala Oyo during the 2017/2018 Academic Year. Involving 25 students, the study utilized teacher and student observation sheets, achievement tests, and photo documentation across two cycles. The results from Cycle I to Cycle II showed significant improvements across all indicators. The average score for teacher performance increased from 59.71% to 84.71%, while student activity rose from 58.5% to 83.2%. Academically, the students' average learning outcome improved from 74.95 to 86.13. Furthermore, the classical learning mastery percentage also increased substantially from 60% to 88%. In conclusion, the implementation of the Scramble model effectively enhances teacher performance, student engagement, and social studies learning outcomes. Based on these findings, the researcher suggests that teachers apply this model in the learning process, continuously improve classroom weaknesses, and recommends this study as a reference for future researchers.
