Author Ethics
1. Reporting Standards
Authors must present information regarding research processes and results honestly, clearly, and comprehensively to the editor. Authors must also maintain and store research data properly and securely.
2. Originality and Plagiarism
Authors must ensure that submitted manuscripts are original works written by themselves, derived from their own ideas, and do not plagiarize the work or ideas of others. Any form of plagiarism or misappropriation of sources is strictly prohibited.
3. Redundant Submission
Authors must confirm that the submitted manuscript has not been previously published or submitted to another journal. Manuscripts identified as redundant submissions will be rejected by the editor.
4. Authorship
Authors must ensure that all listed authors meet the authorship criteria in accordance with their expertise and contribution to the manuscript. The corresponding author (or first author) is responsible for resolving any issues arising during the publication process.
5. Correction of Errors
Authors must promptly notify the editor of any significant errors discovered in the manuscript, including errors in names, affiliations, data, or other information affecting the credibility of the work. Necessary corrections must be made immediately.
6. Disclosure of Conflict of Interest
Authors must disclose any financial or non-financial conflicts of interest that may influence the interpretation of their manuscript.
Editor Ethics
1. Publication Decision
Editors are responsible for deciding which manuscripts submitted to Jurnal Riset dan Inovasi Teknik Sipil (JURASI) should be published. Decisions must be based on transparent, objective, fair, and scholarly evaluation through the editorial board.
2. Information Management
Editors must ensure the proper management, use, and distribution of both printed and electronic publication information.
3. Peer-Review Process Management
Editors are responsible for assigning manuscripts to reviewers and managing the peer-review and evaluation process effectively.
4. Objectivity and Neutrality
Editors must evaluate manuscripts objectively without discrimination based on gender, business affiliation, ethnicity, religion, race, or nationality of the authors.
5. Confidentiality
Editors must maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and all related information, including the identity and privacy of authors.
6. Disclosure of Conflict of Interest
Editors must avoid conflicts of interest in handling manuscripts to ensure a fair and unbiased review process.
Reviewer Ethics
1. Objectivity and Neutrality
Reviewers must conduct reviews objectively, honestly, independently, and professionally, prioritizing scientific integrity regardless of the author’s background.
2. Source Verification
Reviewers should evaluate the appropriateness and credibility of references and citations. Any irregularities or ethical concerns must be reported to the editor.
3. Review Timeliness
Reviewers must complete the review process within the specified period (maximum two weeks). Any delay should be reported to the editorial office.
4. Disclosure of Conflict of Interest
Reviewers must disclose and avoid any conflicts of interest that may affect their assessment of the manuscript.
