Peer Review Process
Initial Review (Desk Evaluation)
The initial review of submitted manuscripts is conducted by the editors. During this desk evaluation, the editors assess whether the manuscript is suitable for publication in Jurnal Riset dan Inovasi Teknik Sipil (JURASI) based on:
-
the journal’s focus and scope,
-
similarity score using Crosscheck–iThenticate,
-
methodological soundness,
-
readability and clarity of presentation, and
-
compliance with the journal’s manuscript template.
If the manuscript meets these requirements, it will be sent to at least two anonymous reviewers through a Blind Peer Review process.
Review and Revision Process
Comments from anonymous reviewers are communicated to the corresponding author, who is responsible for revising the manuscript and providing responses to reviewers’ comments. The editorial team evaluates the revised manuscript and determines the final recommendation. The Editor communicates the final decision to the corresponding author.
Accepted manuscripts proceed to copyediting and layout editing stages to prepare the camera-ready version of the paper.
