Integrasi TIK dan Pengembangan Kompetensi Digital Guru Prajabatan di Perguruan Tinggi

Artikel ini merupakan artikel konseptual, hasil tinjauan literatur dari berbagai sumber baik cetak maupun elektronik. Bertujuan untuk menggambarkan fitur penting dari pemanfaatan teknologi digital untuk meningkatkan lembaga pendidikan. Ditujukan untuk fakultas atau pendidikan tinggi penyelenggara pendidikan dan pelatihan guru bahwa baik program pengembangan profesional untuk guru dalam jabatan dan/atau program untuk menyiapkan guru masa depan harus memberikan pengalaman yang kaya teknologi di semua aspek pendidikan dan pelatihan. Pendidikan di seluruh dunia mengalami perubahan paradigma besar dalam praktik pendidikan, pengajaran dan pembelajaran di bawah payung lingkungan belajar yang didukung TIK. Pendidikan Abad 21 secara tegas mengisyaratkan bahwa guru harus menguasai TIK. Guru sebagai garda terdepan untuk memajukan pendidikan, tidak cukup dilengkapi untuk memanfaatkan teknologi di kelas. Metode terbaik untuk menyiapkan guru untuk pengajaran berbasis TIK adalah dengan membiarkan mereka melakukannya. Mempelajari keterampilan TIK saja tidak cukup, tetapi menggunakan TIK untuk meningkatkan pengajaran dan pembelajaran adalah kunci untuk integrasi teknologi dan pedagogi. Pengalaman belajar yang didukung teknologi yang mendorong dan memungkinkan penggunaan teknologi untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran, penilaian, dan praktik pengajaran harus disediakan oleh semua lembaga yang berpartisipasi dalam penyiapan pendidik masa depan.
