This study analyzed the effect of different stocking densities on the growth rate and survival rate of larval white seabass (Lates calcarifer) reared in floating net cages in Salang District, Simeulue Regency. High stocking densities have implications for increased stress, decreased water quality, and decreased growth and survival rates. Meanwhile, low stocking densities show optimal results with better environmental conditions that support overall larval health. The experimental method used included three stocking density treatments, and the results were analyzed using statistical tests to determine significant differences between treatments. The findings provide practical guidance in determining the appropriate stocking density to optimize the production of larval white seabass. This research contributes to improving the effectiveness of sustainable sea bass aquaculture, especially in coastal areas of Indonesia.
