Pelatihan SketchUp Sebagai Upaya Peningkatan Kompetensi Perancangan Bangunan bagi Siswa SMK Program Keahlian Teknik Konstruksi dan Perumahan di SMK Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Barat

Abstract

Transformasi digital pada sektor konstruksi menuntut lulusan pendidikan vokasi menguasai perangkat lunak desain berbasis CAD dan BIM. Namun, pembelajaran gambar teknik di SMK Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Barat masih didominasi metode manual sehingga diperlukan penguatan kompetensi digital siswa. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi perancangan bangunan melalui pelatihan SketchUp berbasis praktik. Program dilaksanakan pada 13–14 Januari 2026 dengan desain kuasi-eksperimen one-group pretest–posttest terhadap 25 siswa. Analisis data menggunakan SPSS meliputi statistik deskriptif, uji normalitas Shapiro–Wilk, paired sample t-test, effect size (Cohen’s d), dan N-Gain. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan antara skor pretest dan posttest (p < 0,001) dengan effect size kategori besar (d = 1,72). Nilai rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,336 termasuk kategori sedang. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan SketchUp berbasis praktik efektif meningkatkan kompetensi desain dan literasi digital siswa serta relevan mendukung kebutuhan industri konstruksi modern.
